    Green Tea Banana Ice Cream Vegan Raw Recipe, easy to make with only 2 ingredients

    You can top this green tea banana ice cream with your favourite fruits, sauces, or nuts. Cherie topped hers with buckinis and her own carob sauce. Carob is substitute ingredient for cacao powder.

    Both cacao and carob are low in calories but cacao has a more chocolaty taste than carob. Carob however does not have caffeine, which makes it a great alternative for anyone with high blood pressure.

    Buckini is activated buckwheat, where the seed is soaked evenly in water. It has various health benefits, such as reducing risk of high cholesterol and blood pressure, regulating blood sugar, and maintaining healthy weight.

    Now, lets make some ice cream – matcha style

    Raw Matcha Vegan Ice Cream

    Matcha Green Tea Banana Nice Cream Vegan Raw Recipe

    Ingredients

    Ice cream

    • 6 frozen bananas
    • 1 tbsp Kenko Tea matcha (heaping)

    Sauce + Topping

    • 3 dates
    • 1-2 tbsp carob powder
    • Splash of water
    • Buckinis

    Method

    1. Blend bananas + matcha in food processor until well combined
    2. Scoop the ice cream out on the tray lined with baking paper
    3. Freeze the ice cream for 10-30 mins to harden
    4. Blend dates + carob powder + water until smooth
    5. Place ice cream scoops into a bowl
    6. Top with buckinis + carob sauce
