    Matcha Coconut Slices Vegan Raw Easy Recipe

    Yes! It’s the weekend and to help you make the absolute most of it we’ve got another clean, delicious and super healthy matcha recipe for you to enjoy from one of our besties – the amazing Tess Begg from @tessbegg.

    Tess is a Sydneysider who loves creating and sharing her own healthy vegan recipes. They’re all awesome and super delicious and you can find tonnes of her feel good content here:

    This recipe is super easy to follow and has no baking or cooking. All you need to do is blend and freeze!

    These slices are a healthy, raw, vegan, dairy-free and amazingly tasty treat to have at parties, barbeques or holiday gatherings.

    Raw Vegan Green Tea Slices recipe for party sweet treats

    Matcha Green Tea Slices

    Ingredients:

    Base-

    • ½ cup desiccated coconut
    • ⅓ cup oat flour
    • 3 pitted medjool dates
    • 1 tbsp coconut oil
    • 1 tbsp brown rice malt syrup

    Filling-

    • 1 cup cashews soaked
    • ½ cup coconut cream
    • 1 tbsp brown rice malt syrup
    • 1 tbsp coconut oil
    • 1 tsp + ½ tsp Kenko Tea matcha powder

    Method:

    1. Blend all the base ingredients in high speed blender
    2. Press the mixture into a tray evenly, ensuring no gaps
    3. Freeze the base while making the filling
    4. Blend all the filling ingredients until creamy and smooth
    5. Spread the filling evenly on the base
    6. Freeze for 2 hours or until firm
    7. Cut into slices to serve
