Hojicha Powder - Dark Roasted

The consistency was a bit surprising at first, not dissolving powder but a grainy texture, though not exceedingly. The taste is delicious and it seems to calm me down considerably. I’ve noticed I don’t flare up when I’m in disagreement with someone!
Will definitely keep buying this product.

I can’t drink coffee, so these tea powders are my lifeblood for my morning pick-me-up. Dark roast hojicha powder is my favourite kind of hojicha powder, as it tastes and smells like the hojicha I am used to, and it is perfect for making hojicha lattes and baking with. I find the medium and light-roast smell too much of nuts. It did run out of stock for a while, so I’m glad it’s finally back. It is also a good matcha latte alternative for the times when you feel especially more sensitive to caffeine from matcha, as dark hojicha has the least caffeine of the powder options. Kenko Tea finally has it finally on subscription, which makes it easier and cheaper to get. I now get both my supply of kenko hojicha and culinary matcha together on the 3-month-subscription, and it has been working so well for my needs.
