A mixed cultivar Ceremonial matcha Sourced from Uji, Kyoto. A blend of Okumidori, Saemidori, Yabukita cultivars. Has a bold, nutty flavour with lingering umami. Recommended for new or experienced matcha drinkers.

Packs an Intense 'green tea matcha' flavour, and whisks up a delightful and creamy layer of crema. This is the best home matcha I have found. Tastes delicious, no bitter aftertaste or strange flavour additions. I have it every morning instead of coffee and I'm still not sick of it. Whisks well and no clumps.
I ordered the 100g bag and when it arrived it seemed more full and yellow than as advertised, I had bought the tin of organic matcha too and side by side the difference in colour was quite noticeable.
I emailed their support and they responded quickly, offering either a replacement or refund which I thought was quite nice of them.
When I received the replacement I was pleasantly surprised, the colour was a lot more vibrant and comparable to Ippodo’s Sayaka. It had a toasty and almost nutty scent while the taste was umami and sweet, and in my opinion has that matcha taste of matcha desserts and sweets.
All in all, the matcha is great and the customer service just as good.
