Green Tea Oreo chocolate cake topped with strawberry chocolate

With the coming Valentine’s Day, we feel super romantic, and what better way to show off your love than with a delicious homemade dessert?

To light your romantic fires and get your oven hot, we’ve got a blissful matcha dessert recipe to share called  Mini Matcha Lava Cake by the delightful Anita.

Anita is a passionate foodie who loves to eat, travel, explore new things and have fun wherever she goes. She also enjoys creating her own tasty desserts recipes - you can check out Anita’s adventurous life and tasty treats here:

Anita’s Matcha Lava Cakes recipe kind of happened by mistake. She was making a green tea cheesecake but whisked it too much so it became a green tea lava cake. What a happy accident!

Whether it’s done in a cheesecake or a lava cake style, this recipe is still delicious with the perfect blend of Oreos and matcha green tea. The rich, smooth matcha cream filling is complemented by the crunchy Oreo crust and the fresh strawberry chocolate topping.

It’s also extremely easy and quick to make; a perfect loved up dessert. Let’s begin!

Real matcha

Kenko is the best matcha I've found in Australia. Expensive, but genuine tea matcha unlike the cooking grade which is sold by some suppliers. Whisks up to a beautiful foam, taste and aroma excellent. Reminds me of matcha I bought in Kyoto.

A very nice gift pack

This Matcha tea taste really good. Best advise, only boil water to 80%.
Staff at Kenko are really helpful. A great alternative to coffee.

Best Matcha by far

I've tried several different brands of Matcha over the years and Kenko is by far the best, highest quality Matcha you can buy. I absolutely love it! Thankyou.

Electric Matcha whisk

This great little electric whisk froths up my morning matcha in no time. Easier than using a traditional hand held bamboo whisk. Comes with a compact storage case. Kenko orders are sent with love, wrapped in red tissue paper. Highly recommended.

Wow!

Delicious. Love this matcha 🍵, excellent quality and the service is second to none. 10/10
