Vegan Matcha Chia Pudding

Matcha Green Tea Pudding with Chia Seeds

A new week has begun and with it comes a new matcha recipe. This week we are munching on the delicious and healthy Matcha Chia Pudding Recipe created by Tahlia, aka @berriesinmysmoothie.

Tahlia is a 23-year old vegetarian Sydney girl who loves to travel. Wherever she goes she practices yoga and eats healthily, keeping her body and mind balanced. Tahlia has created and shared many vegan recipes, which you can see on her instagram, berriesinmysmoothie.

And today, she has this delicious pudding recipe for you. Puddings are a popular dessert around the world and we personally love to eat it. Baked, boiled or steamed – we love it all.

This pudding recipe, however, is extra easy to make and doesn’t require any baking. It’s also vegan, raw, dairy-free, and gluten-free – so what’s not to love? Enjoy this pudding and keep your waistline trim.

  • 5 tablespoons chia seeds
  • 2 cups coconut milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla essence
  • 1 teaspoon Kenko Tea Matcha powder
  • Handful fresh berries

  1. Mix coconut milk, essence and matcha powder together in a jug
  2. Then add chia seeds in the jug
  3. Stir really well for a minute otherwise the seeds will clump.
  4. Pour into 2 glass jars, seal with a lid
  5. Leave to sit overnight in the fridge
  6. Next morning, top with fresh berries or fruit of choice
