Today I made a Matcha green tea chia seed pudding. If you've never heard of chia seeds then I can't help you, because I have no idea what they are. Probably some ancient Amazonian grain similar to quinoa and I'm sure by purchasing them I've helped displaced an ancient tribe living in the jungle or two.
Nevertheless, they are apparently healthy and full of protein, healthy fats and antioxidants, at least according to this lady who seems to know all about them. So with that behind us let's get on with the recipe, as I'm sure no one came to listen to me dribble on...
That's it. Easy as 1,2,3.
How does it taste? It tasted like I thought it would taste - a weird, grainy dessert with green tea. I enjoyed the flavour, and it is super healthy from all the antioxidants of matcha and chia, but the texture is a little 'strange'.
I think I'll stick to my smoothies!
